Call back feature in live chatAnswered
I think it would be great if customers could contact us via live chat, and then be given the option to request a call back. Doing this would open up a schedule tool for them to select the next available date and time - then book in a 10 minute slot.
Agents could then see this calendar and either manually (or auto-magically) reserve time to make the calls.

Currently, we have no immediate plans to offer a call scheduling feature while on an ongoing chat.
Hello - I was sure I saw this option while in the Zendesk Demo. Please can you tell me if there is an update for: Callback request or Schedule a Callback in the Live Chat widget. Or a different way of doing something like this in Zendesk?

It looks like this isn't available in Messaging at this time. According to this feedback post, Adding Talk to messaging, this is something that our product managers are digging into so stay tuned!
