Hi there,

Is it possible for clients to upload video files to Chats (SDK for iOS and Android)? How can we set up receiving video files from clients in our Chats? What formats are allowed? Are there any restrictions for video files?

Thank you for contacting Zendesk. Let me assist you with your concern regarding uploading video files using SDK.

As of the moment, these are the acceptable file types that you can send on Chat via SDK.

PDF (.pdf) 
PNG (.png) 
JPEG (.jpeg) 
GIF (.gif) 
Text (.txt)

Hi Toffee! Thanks for your reply. Are you planning to add a video format in the future? And what can you advise at this moment? Because now we need some kind of solution to receive video files from clients using SDK.

Though I can't provide additional information as to when this will happen,I would like to encourage you to create a new post in the General Product Feedback topic [https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/200132066-General-Product-Feedback-] in our community to engage with other users who have similar needs and discuss possible workarounds. Conversations with a high level of engagement ultimately get flagged for product managers to review when they go through roadmap planning.
