We recently added CookieBot to our existing Guide instances, following these instructions, but have found this doesn't block the Google Analytics cookies (on load) created by adding to the settings pages of Guide instances with these steps. It does delete the cookies if consent I select consent that does not allow "Statistics" cookies, but this isn't sufficient for CookieBot testing or GDPR compliance.

Replicating should be as simple as applying both sets of instructions to a fresh install.

If I copy the generated code (and turn off the Google Analytics setting in Guide) and put it into my document head template manually, I can then edit it to add type='text/plain' to the scripts (as suggested by cookiebot) which results in expected behaviour (no google cookies on load, cookies only created after consent is given for the Statistics category).

If there is a way these two sets of instructions can be combined, I'd love to hear, as it would be ideal to keep GA in the settings. Otherwise, there should be a caveat on the instructions or this should be fixed.
