Schedule intervals in 15 mins

We would like to be able to close our phone lines using schedules, at quarter to the hour to allow our team to wrap up the calls they are on, before they clock off for the day. Currently the schedule only lets you drag the time times in 30 minute intervals, It would be great if 15 minute intervals could be added OR the ability to type the times with more precision as well as drag and drop

Thanks for the feedback.

We understand your frustration in not being able to create schedules at 15 minute intervals. We will add your request to our product backlog for future consideration. Some workarounds are detailed below, these are not officially supported but are something worth looking into. 

One partial workaround may be to create a separate IVR with no routes, and a message saying your business is closed. You could change the IVR on the number via API. You would need to be familiar with our API,  our docs for 'Update a number' are what you would use, passing in the IVR ID of the out of hours IVR you created.

You could also try creating a schedule in product and then update the 'intervals' via API with the 15 minute intervals you need.

Take a look at this in our 'Schedules' API documentation.

Both API suggestions above are not officially supported, but are well documented endpoints that are worth looking at to achieve your goal.

Just went to update our phone hours and noticed 15 minute intervals are now possible on the schedule function @... which is great :)
