I am unable to follow ZIS tutorial as I cannot test the app locally. It does not appear in the navbar menu. I confirmed it with the provided source code from https://github.com/zendesk/demo_apps/tree/master/v2/zis/zendesk_app_as_admin_ui/part_1
When I run a local server and launch my instance with ?zcli_apps=true attribute, I get the following result:
$zcli apps:server ~/repos/mysubdomain_zis_tutorial/ --logs
Apps server is running on http://localhost:4567 🚀
Add ?zcli_apps=true to the end of your Zendesk URL to load these apps on your Zendesk account.
GET /app.json?locale=en&subdomain=mysubdomain 200
I am using @zendesk/zcli/1.0.0-beta.14 wsl-x64 node-v16.13.0 (also tried beta 15). I have ZENDESK_SUBDOMAIN, ZENDESK_EMAIL, and ZENDESK_API_TOKEN environment variables defined.
I launched the instance using chromium (edge and brave) on windows and firefox on WSLg. Allowed insecure content. Tried incognito. Searched dev tools for errors in console tab. Filtered the network tab for any requests to localhost, but found nothing. There is no trace of the app other than this successful request in the logs. I am very confused. Help!
*** Update ***
I used ZAT server instead of zcli and it works. It seems to be an issue with zcli
