The move of Setting from Zendesk Support to Admin is horrible
Not Planned
Posted Mar 03, 2022
Dear Zendesk Team
I am sorry, but the latest change of the Settings in Support to the Admin Center is not user friendly at all. Maybe bigger teams don't unse this often. But I use everyday the settings tab to change triggers, add macros, adapt forms, check on things and now you have moved it away. I have to do so many extra clicks now. The support tabs include so many waste of space items. The "Explore" tab has no info in it. Now the "Setting" is also useless. I don't understand why there is no faster access to this things. I am sorry about my words but I am really frustrated.
Best regads,
Anja

I agree with Anja. Also, having the settings open in a new tab is a bit of an annoyance. My real issue is that most of the settings have either been renamed or categorized differently in the Admin Center versus the old Settings area. It's hard to find what I'm looking for.

If you'd like to keep your admin settings on the same tab, you can now use the free Admin Center app.

Hi Anja,
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this detailed feedback; it has been noted. We apologize for the delay in responding to your request. Unfortunately, at this moment, we do not have plans to alter the existing design that necessitates opening the Admin Center in a new tab. This approach is part of our strategy to enhance functionalities in the Admin Center, aiming to boost productivity. As a workaround, you may explore the Admin Center app from our partner.
At this time we are going to close this post for comment and mark it as “not planned”. If you are interested in learning more about this and other features being built please make sure to check out and follow our Community events, What’s New Community Topic, and Zendesk Updates. Again, we apologize for our delay and appreciate you being a valuable Zendesk Community member.
