Disable automatic translation warning
Posted Apr 26, 2022
Hello there,
I've recently started to build a full messaging experience for our customers, involving the conversation bot. Since we're a company with a European scope, I need the bot to provide multilingual support.
When enabling multilingual support through automatic translation, I noticed that the first message sent by the bot is "This is an automatic translation". I don't find this warning very customer-friendly, as they might think we just don't care about them enough to spend resources for their language, while it's only a technical limitation from Zendesk itself.
Are there any plans to offer disabling that automatic warning? Or even better, plans for a feature without automatic translation in the flow builder and the conversation bot - such as resorting to dynamic content.
Cheers,
Antoni

Hi Antoni,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We currently have plans to provide admins with the ability to customise the translations, giving them full control over the translations. I don't have the exact timeline at this stage but it's on the roadmap for early next year.

Hello - Is there any update on this? Prior to ability to customise the translation it is possible to remove this warning? I agree it is not very customer friendly.

As a company that services 9 languages, we would also like to remove that first message, or be able to customize it, as we feel it doesn't provide a warm first impression for our users. A definite upvote from me!
