Please let me see the last time a macro was used.
Feature Request Summary:
I should be able to see a date of the last time a macro was used and submitted on a ticket.
Description/Use Cases:
Currently, you can generate a view of the usage for the last 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. This is just not sufficient or usable if you have any macros that may be used less than once a month. I would like to be able to see when each macro was last used, and ideally, what ticket, and by who. I really need something more like a 6 month view, to really be able to do any kind of meaningful clean up and management.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
The only way to achieve this goal currently, is to set up a custom tag to be added to every single macro. You can only then find out going forward when and if that macro has been used. This is just not a feasible workaround when organizations have thousands of macros. I really need to be able to tell if a macro was last used 2 months ago, versus 6 months ago, somewhere in the interface. 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days usage may be appropriate for some businesses, but it's definitely not a good fit for everyone.

You can view the last DAY it was used, but not the time. Use the following URL format:
https://yourdomain.zendesk.com/rules/macroid/tickets
You get the macro ID from the admin center. Open the macro and you'll see the ID in the URL. You can use this same URL format for triggers and automations as well. You must be an admin to view this.

We now have a major issue where macro actions are not all being applied when the macro is used. If this was a feature it would be a LOT easier to catch the instances where the macros are failing to work.

Hi CJ Johnson
Great feedback on tracking macro usage. I imagine that would be a very useful detail. How often do you manage and cleanup macros? Currently we do not have anything on the roadmap for macro usage but I will add this to our Productboard and bring it up with the product managers.
