Guide: Article Comment and Verified History
Currently with Guide content, once an article is published, any workflow comments that were present on an article are removed. While the article history is still present, the comments are not. Also, the verifier of the article is not visible as well.
With our workflows, content is handled by different Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and may be touched by a few as well as Product Owner reviewed prior to publishing. It would be very helpful to maintain a history of the comments as well as be able to determine who verified any articles.
Business Impact: Using Zendesk as a single source of truth without any swiveling is limited with the current Guide configuration. This adds time to our process and should we need to reference any previous notes after publishing, we are unable to do so from within Zendesk.
Current Workaround: There is no workaround to see who verified an article. There is no current workaround for easily maintaining comments in a multi-step/multi-person content creation process.
What we'd like to have happen: Something like a github process that could show where changes were made as well as to preserve the comments (or commit messages) and the ability to show who verified the article and when.
