Insert visitor name to the proactive message

    Hi Ole, as outlined in our Trigger placeholders documentation, you can use the placeholder @visitor_name in trigger action statements. When the trigger is fired, this placeholder pulls in the name of the visitor.

    Just wanted to add that since you will be using this in a proactive chat trigger, please consider the following as mentioned in Considerations before using proactive chats:

    If the chat is started by a proactive trigger, the pre-chat form requirement is bypassed and chats can be created without users having to fill in their name and email address.

     
    Although you will be using the placeholder if the form is bypassed, it is possible that the visitor's name won't be included in the message.
