Feature Request Summary:
Scheduled emails of Dashboards should contain and display ALL reports on the Dashboard, not just reports "with data" to display.
Currently, if you have a Dashboard, and a tab on that Dashboard has several reports that all returned 0 data, instead of displaying the tab, a blank teal page is inserted in the PDF.
Likewise, I have been unable to confirm but reported that reports that contain data but Zendesk failed to load, display as having no data.
Both of these are extreme issues that result in the system sending out broken and misleading reports.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
It’s pretty terrible to send an email, saying for example, that there were no Bad CSATs last week, when in reality there were 250, but the system choked generating the report and decided to show a message saying there was no data for that report instead.
It’s equally terrible to have a reporting product that excludes reports when there’s no data. If I’m reporting on something that I expect or strive to be blank, like Bad CSATs, not displaying the report at all is equally confusing and misleading. This is a horrible end-user experience. This breaks so many workflows and introduces the need for a lot of extra effort for managers to confirm if the data they received is correct or not. I should be able to trust that what I receive in the report is exactly the same as what is displayed when I view the Dashboard.
