Holiday Hours Scheduling is not applying properly to Zendesk Messaging

Title is pretty clear, I set a Holiday schedule because we are closed 12/23 - 12/26 but the Messaging Bot is not recognizing that there is a holiday schedule in place as we are still receiving live chats despite every chat tree having a schedule check. I changed our hours of operation to remove Fridays and it shows us as closed properly, but it's completely ignoring the holiday schedule. This is a pretty important issue, as I don't want to show us closed on Fridays as a workaround which I currently have to do.

How do I apply a schedule to Zendesk Messaging? Is there a slider like for ZD Talk where you can designate days and hours?

Hello Myron,
 
You can add a business hours to your Messaging by adding the Add business hours condition to your bot builder. 
 
This step can be used to configure the bot to respond differently based on your business availability. Adding this step will split the answer flow into two branches:
  • when open, which appears to the end user during scheduled business hours
  • when closed, which appears to the end user outside of scheduled business hours
