We use a number of data filters to ensure that cross-team tickets can be effectively in/excluded. Specifically - submitter, channel, form, & group. It's very tidy to be able to have all of them in one widget and helps to clean up the dashboard, making for ease of review.

A critical limitation is that the display options only allow for vertical stacking in the drop-down version. For other designs, the data filters need to be created individually and manually sized and aligned. This is a tedious process that can take a lot of time fine-tuning - otherwise it will look sloppy.

It would save time and improve the consistency of dashboards to have other orientation options, like vertical, horizontal, & grid. In particular, for the filters above, the terms are brief enough that they could also be neatly displayed left-to-right, instead of in a column. Similarly, they all have the same width, and since there's four of them, they could be grouped as a two-by-two grid.
