Chat - How to display custom message
AnsweredHi - We are using chat and I have a requirement to post a special message/disclaimer on the pre-chat form. I see where there is the ability to modify the greeting of the web widget, but it doesn't allow for html and is not where on the widget we want to put the text.
Has anyone come up with a better way to handle modifying the pre-chat form or serving out some some instructions. I don't want to go crazy and use the SDK. Any creative ideas appreciated.

If you want to include custom HTML or design to have a link or checkbox in the pre-chat form, you will need to go the Web SDK route.
Some customers just put a short link in the pre-chat form or they set a proactive trigger to send any terms and conditions when the chat request is sent and in the queue. Those are two options you can try that goes around having to build something custom using the Web SDK which is a bigger investment, but could make sense if you also need other widget customisation for branding.
