Community news banner always returns, although I dismiss it again and again
This banner has shown like 10 today. I dismiss it, navigate the site, I'm back at the community forums, and the banner is back.
Yes, I know Zendesk user groups have launched. You have like shown me that 30 times this month as I've visited the community pages using the same browser, without clearing my cache.
Can you please understand when I dismiss this notification already?
Thanks for letting us know about this, Joel. This is a piece of custom code, and we were unaware that it didn't have a persistent dismiss.
I'll talk to the team and see if we can get that fixed soon.
Also, you've had the same issue on another page. It was there last I checked, maybe 6 months ago, very similar "sticky" banner, which has been like that for like 2 years. You might want to review that as well! I think it was a page used to handle RSVPs for your webinars, but I can't remember now.
