How to change audio output settings in Zendesk Talk?

Answered

Posted Mar 08, 2023

I would like to change the audio output from my speakers to my headphones.

I'm using the latest version of Chrome on Mac Ventura.

I tried changing the default audio output device in Mac settings, but that didn't make any difference. It seems that Zendesk (or Chrome?) is picking an audio device randomly.

Basically all I'm looking for is a toggle like in Google Meet, Zoom, etc. where you can pick the audio output device. This is a basic and essential feature that will be required if we are to adopt Zendesk Talk.

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for your comment. At this time we are not adding that feature natively. However, you should be able to address this on the browser level or on the OS level. Here is an article to digest:

If you have additional question, the quickest path is to start a support ticket.

Thanks,

Sean
