Best way to track multiple values across a custom field
I would love some feedback on how we could better track store numbers in our tickets.
Situation: We work with many retailers and track tickets across their stores. Some tickets may reference a single store number, while other tickets reference multiple store numbers. These store numbers can be for a single retailer but sometimes a single ticket will have multiple retailers and store numbers referenced.
How we handle it now: We are manually tagging each ticket with a retailer abbreviation followed by the store number (ex: retailer_1234) but I'm thinking there must be a better way to handle this. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I think that tagging will be the best option. A better way to do it, will be by creating a multi select custom field to add to your ticket form for the agents to select the stores are related to the ticket.
Each value will have the tag linked to each store.
Another workaround will be to create a field when selected activates a trigger to add the stores number you need in the ticket.
If these users from those stores are the same. You can try to add tags to the users to be automatically added:
