I need to show help center articles within web widget but do not want my help center to be public

I am using Zendesk Guide to store my knowledge base. I need by configurated bot to access the documentation and suggest articles to my end users, but I do not want my knowledge base to be public to avoid that my competitors can access it.

Is there no out-of-the-box solution there? I want to suggest important documentations to my end users, but do not want my competitors to see them. How to achieve that?

Hi Florian,

Currently, you may restrict Guide Help Center access and create user permissions that allow your select end users to access the articles. In the future, to restrict access via the articles recommendation feature as well, you can authenticate your end users on the widget so they will need to be identified as your end user before viewing the article.

Unfortunately authenticating users on the Widget to access restricted articles seems to be a limitation for now. Please do follow the thread in this article to know more about we will address these changes.

Hope this helps!
