Turn off or Change Content for "Email Added to your Account" notifications

Please give a quick overview of your product feature request or feedback and note who in your org is affected by this issue [ex. agents, admins, customers, etc.].

Our users are getting the emails from zendesk with subject “Email Added to your Account” when any email ID is added to their account.  We would like to suppress these email notifications ( or if suppressing is not possible then to change the content of the email notification.). As confirmed by zendesk support team, there is no solution to achieve this.

 

What problem do you see this solving? 

We would like to see an option in admin center or settings for changing the content of the email and also adding an option to turn on/off the notification for when emails are added in agents/admin accounts.

 

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool? What happened? How often does this problem occur and how does this impact your business?

We are encountering this issue on daily basis.

 

Are you currently using a workaround to solve this problem? (If yes, please explain) 

There is no workaround 

 

What would be your ideal solution to this problem? How would it work or function? 

To have a button to turn on/off the email notification for when emails are added in agent/admins account. Also there should be an option to change the email content for this email notification.

+1 we just went through this as we needed to add another domain to all of our agents (500+). As such, we actually had to go into our middleware that scans for malicious emails and block these emails from going out. For customers that do not have middleware, there is no way to suppress. And we shouldn't need to use middleware to STOP ZD behavior. Nor should we have no options for customizing if we can't
