Side Conversations problems with drag and drop attachments and sending

Dear Community,

 

We appear to be experiencing intermittent problems with Side Conversations not accepting drag and drop attachments as well as the send button being greyed out (separately and both issues together).

 

We know that the recipient, subject and text need to be present to activate the send button. Several refreshes and starting from scratch usually rectifies the issues but it's irritating having to start from scratch every time it happens. 

 

Is anyone aware of a sequence that needs to be adhered to?

Hi Helen,

We also mentioned that in several cases. Please check if the browser is up-to-date. I would also recommend to use Google Chrome. The most common problems with drag and drop were solved after an update.

We also use an additional app of Leafworks.de/ Knots.io. The side con app allows us to transmit the files between ticket comment and side conversation without any effort. This helps us a lot.

I never faced this issue with dragging attachments but I'm sure as Mr. Stephan said I think can resolve your issue :)
