OAuth authentication flow doesn't work on host mapped help center

Posted Jul 03, 2024

Hi,

A user is experiencing issues while integrating their Zendesk Help Center with our service. During the OAuth authentication flow, sending them to https://{subdomain}.zendesk.com/oauth/authorizations/new results in a 302 status. This causes the page to redirect twice to another login page, ultimately losing all query parameters.

This issue seems unique to this user, as they have their Help Center host mapped, and no other users have reported similar problems.

Could you please assist?

hi Shawna James
I did exactly as the support ticket says, but I'm still facing the same issue.
I tried using the host-mapped domain for the authentication request like https://{host-mapped-domain}/oauth/authorizations/new and also tried with https://{subdomain}.zendesk.com/oauth/authorizations/new, the redirect is happening either way and even though I can trace the redirection, I still can't control it
