Using Markdown to write and edit Guide articles

Hey folks!

I'm just making an enquiry in regards to the current state of Markdown implementation in Zendesk Guide.

I've had a bit of a look through prior posts and found this one linked here that states that;

I'm happy to say that we are working on changing the technology underlying our editors in Guide and we'll add support for markdown in article editor in the future (probably next year). As you can see in the article linked by Dane, the markdown is already supported in Content Blocks and we'll keep extending it further :) 

This was posted in July of 2022, so I'm just checking to see if there's any progress in this regard. We're looking at potentially migrating our current KB which is written entirely in Markdown, and while tools exist to convert this text into HTML or Rich Text, I'd very much prefer to have a native Markdown editor to import our articles into to make the process a lot more seamless.
