What events does the Events API track/serve? Can I add event types?

I am retrieving user events from the Events API for the admins on my account. In the results, I see events like ticket_requested, article_viewed, help_center_searched, article_search_result_clicked, etc.
My question is, where can I find a list of all the events this API tracks? Obviously my admins are updating tickets, editing/publishing articles etc, but these don't show in the results. And is it possible to extend this functionality, either through a Zendesk setting or a custom developed solution?
We are on the Suite Professional plan.

With the Events API you define which User Events to track. The type of events you can retrieve also depends on the method used for sending this data. You can read about more those different methods here. If you'd like to see all events for a specific user from an app you can use the API shown here. I also recommend taking a look at our docs for the Supported Events in Sunshine for a high level view of what is available. Hope this helps!
