Zendesk support SDK - android - disable searchview in helpcenter

Hi, 

 

I'm trying to customize the look and feel of helpcenter screen in android while using the support sdk. And I have below queries related to the searchview in helpcenter toolbar,

 

1. How to customize the searchview edittext. Right now my toolbar is white in color and i have changed the searchview icon color to black. However, on click of searchview, I can enter the search text, however it is invisible. Maybe because the text color is white. How do i customize this edittext.

 

2. How do i disable the searchview so that user has no option to click on the searchview and search

    Hi Varkey! All of the available customization for the Support SDK on Android is listed here. If you want to customize it any further than that, you will need to build your own UI. We have links for our API providers here to help with that.
