Restricting Agent Signature Creation
We as a company use placeholders and create our macros so that the required signature is included as soon as this is applied so all emails and contacts are uniform.
We have found that some of our agents are also creating their own signatures on their profiles which do not match the company standard we expect and mean that when the macro is applied, there are 2 signatures (agents and macro).
On discussing with support, we have been advised that we are not able to limit the access for this to be created by an agent. We would find it useful if there was a way to limit the creation of these, even if it meant that anyone agent level or below cannot but above this can.

if you remove this placeholder in the Signature box, the signature that the agents manage in their own profile will not be added to the Ticket anymore.

Thanks so much for your comment.I have looked under 'Agents' in settings and I do not have this option shown to me. Is this because we are using agent workspace or have I missed something?

no problem!
I don't know why you don't see this option. I see it even if I have the new agent workspace enabled.
Maybe it's because of your Support license plan or something. But Zendesk Support should be able to help you out with that.
