Keyboard Shortcut Open Macro Box is not functional

When using the keyboard shortcuts to open the macro box Ctrl + Alt + M while trying to type a public reply or an internal note, the keyboard focus does not change.
This causes additional work to start typing in the textbox by either using your mouse to click into the box or using the tab button a number of times.
Please look into this as it creates an inefficient workflow. Thank you

Hello Laura.
Do you mean when using the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + M they keyboard focus goes away from the private/public text field?
Mine focuses on the macro field so i can start searching when using the shortcut.

I think the fastest keyboard-based workaround would be to use Ctrl + Alt + X followed by Ctrl + Alt + C (toggling to internal note and then back to public reply) if you're wanting to get back to the public reply box, or the reverse if you're trying to get back to an internal note.

Hey there,
Just an update on this issue, it seems like the macro shortcut will only work if there has been nothing written in the text box, once something has been written on the text box the shortcut stops working.
If this feature could please be updated that would be great as we find that agents want to add macro replies or multiple macros to a message and navigating away while using the mouse can become quite inefficient.
