Excel exported is not in the same format in Explore
完了
投稿日時:2019年4月17日
Hi all,
I am trying to export/schedule a dashboard to users and the report sent out is not displaying the right format as what I am seeing in Explore.
what I expect to be seeing in the excel exported should be similar to this:
Yet the data exported looks like this:
It re-arranges the format of the file (column to row).
Is there anyway that excel exported can be looked exactly the same as what I built in Explore?
Thank you.

We are also waiting for a fix on this. Zendesk exported our reports into Explore for us; however, I will not sign off on completion of the project until this issue is fixed. I still have to use Insights for printing and exporting. The print functionality is useless. It does not print an entire dashboard. I can not use this to send to our clients or to our executives.
If this isn't fixed by February 5th, I hope you reconsider expiring Insights. It seems several people are still relying on it for printing and exporting to excel. I also have to add that when exporting to excel in Insights, it looked much better.

Sharing my support for improvements to this feature. I can't export our monthly stats to share with my team in the current state.

Adding a little more weight to this thread. I just finished transferring everything over to Explore only to find that my reports emailed on the first of the month are unusable due to this issue!

We need a fix to this problem asap. It was so much better through gooddata and here in explore, it consumes too much time to prepare the same report in excel. Too frustrating..

Can we please get an update on this? We've been forced to move all our reports over to Explore as you're retiring Insights, but as it stands Explore is a broken buggy mess.
This has just turned what should be a 2 minute job into hours of work.

Hi Liam and all, thanks for the feedback about this. Liam, I've created a ticket from your feedback for visibility about this. I've cc'd myself on the ticket and will be sure to update all of you when I hear more. Thanks.

Although this seems to have been fixed for exporting directly from a dashboard, it looks like scheduled delivery of dashboards that include the Excel export still remove formatting (such as in my case, changing timestamps back to default). Will the scheduled delivery feature be updated to reflect this change as well?

Hi Dustin,
I would like to know more about the formatting that is being removed when you schedule a delivery for a dashboard into an Excel exported file.
I'll go ahead and create a ticket on your behalf. Kindly wait for a notification within your email. Stay safe! :)

Hello,
For the Excel export on a query or dashboard, there is no way to tell the difference between two or more aggregators on the same Metric column.
In my specific example I want to show both the AVG(First Reply time) and the MED(First Reply Time) and same for resolution time, but on the excel export these columns both just show 'First Reply Time'.
There are several options to update the Column name field, and frustratingly none of them indicate that they will have no effect on the excel export (editing the column name directly, selecting 'show aggregators').
I'm looking for a workaround at this point, potentially creating a custom metric with a duplicate of the calculation just so I can choose a separate name for the export to display correctly.

Bug? Dashboards that are shared as Excel are not formatted correctly. Percent field, which shows CSAT Score as 100% in the dashboard, shows 1 in the Excel file. Number precision is not respected. 218.533333333333 should be 218.53. Our agents are disappointed in the report readability.
