We would like the agent alias specification to be restored.

Hi, development team.

 

The following article update came into force recently.

Announcing improved messaging backend for messaging customers (updated)

 

  • In the article, changes to agent aliases are included, which is currently our problem.
    The name of the support profile can be changed, but this will cause a significant disruption to our internal work as the 'other than my real name' will be displayed when responding outside of the 'Messaging' tool.
  • The company has been aware of the need to use a name other than their real name in the support process, but it is difficult to understand why this functionality has been removed.
  • We would like to see an alternative to the use of the display name immediately.

Further improvements should be considered.
