Two-factor authentication via email [Account > Security > End user authentication]

Currently, end users can use two-factor authentication to log in to Guide, but only mobile authentication apps are supported. We would like to be able to receive authentication codes via email for two-factor authentication.

What problem do you see this solving? (1-2 sentences)

Our customers are not consumers, but companies. While large companies can provide mobile devices to each individual, small and medium-sized enterprises find it difficult to do so. As a result, employees use their personal mobile devices, which can lead to compliance issues.
If two-factor authentication can be performed via email (receiving authentication codes via email), these companies can use two-factor authentication without having to provide mobile devices.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool? What happened? How often does this problem occur and how does this impact your business? (3-4 sentences)

Our customers have pointed out that logging in with a password alone has security issues, and we want to implement two-factor authentication as soon as possible. However, asking our customers to provide mobile devices for two-factor authentication is a barrier. If our support site is not secure, customers will not use it, and the value of our support site will decrease.
Using two-factor authentication is very important to our business.

Agents can receive authentication codes via email for 2SV.

We would like to add the option for end users to receive authentication codes via email for 2FA as well.
