    Hi Morgan,
    The instant search within the search bar from your screenshot does not have additional filtering capability.  It's possible to disable it so that users only see the results on the search results page that contain the source and content type filters.
    Alternatively, we've recently released the Help Center Unified Search API.  This API also allows you to filter results by source, content type and other attributes.  It can be used to build a custom search bar with custom filtering.
