New chat created every time the business is tagged in an Instagram post
RespondidaI just wanted to drop a quick note to those who may be turning to our community for answers. We're aware that every time a business is tagged in an Instagram post a new chat is being created. We have figured out that this is due to a change that Instagram introduced at the beginning of 2022.
For some customers this may not be much of an issue but for those with large Instagram followings we understand that this may be an issue due to the dramatic increase in new chats being created lately. Currently, there is no easy way to ignore these chats but we are working with Meta on this and hope to have a solution soon.
If you are in need of a quick fix, using a bot to help triage the chats is always an option.

Meta has just confirmed that they've released a fix for this issue. If you continue to experience this behaviour, please open a ticket so we can investigate.
