Sell: Moving notes to another contact
My colleague has realized that for a while now, she has been typing notes into the wrong contact (in Zendesk Sell). We need to move these notes to the correct contact; however, we cannot merge the two contacts because we need to maintain both of them.
Is there any way to do this?

In order to move notes from one contact to another, you will need to first export the notes. Then you will need to import the notes to the correct contact.
You have two options to export the notes:
The first is to export your notes via a full account export. This export will give you a zip file with leads, contacts, deals, notes, tasks, and documents. Notes will be included in a separate file. Within the notes file, you will see all notes in your account. Please follow the instructions in this article for a full account export: Exporting data from Zendesk Sell.
Another option is to use our API to retrieve the notes. More information on our Notes API can be found here: Notes API.
From there, you will update the two existing contacts via data import. This will allow you to remove the notes from one contact and add notes to another. More information on how to update existing contacts through a data import can be found in this article: Importing your contacts to Zendesk Sell.
