Ability to have shareable link available without login
Publicado 24 de mai. de 2022
Feature Request Summary:
We would like to share locked down Help Centre article links without forcing user login to access the articles. Shareable article link - everyone with the link can access the article.
Description/Use Cases:
Users usually access the HC articles through our portal where access token is used to avoid Zendesk login however, some article links are shared with users outside our application which leads them to have to login to Zendesk to access restricted articles. Additional login leads to confusion.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
This would help users access articles with ease and without having to login to an external system to access product information in Help Center.

This would extremely valuable. We have a lot of restricted content visible to a mix of user segments. Our enterprise-level customers and our independent contractors must log in to view articles in their categories. However, we'd like to make some of these restricted articles accessible via a link so that other users can view restricted articles without logging in to Zendesk. This would be for users who either do not have a Zendesk profile or would not be tagged for inclusion in our user segments. E.g., consumers who use our platform one time or customers of our B2B customers.

Thank you for your feedback, this is an interesting case that my colleague @... and I have on our radar. We don't have however any immediate implementation plans for it just yet.

Katarzyna Karpinska, this is already the case with Answer Bot suggested articles, in which the link includes an access token within the URL Parameters.
It would be great to be able to generate those on demand either via the UI or a specific API Endpoint.
