Hide internal notes from the comment type
We are trying to integrate the "Zendesk Support for Jira" app in our Jira project to communicate with our support agencies' Zendesk Support account. This works fine for communication but it also shows us the internal notes of our agency, which they don't want us to see due to internal use.
This is blocking us to start using this app which saves us a lot of time using email or other applications to communicate and use multiple applications. We can do it all in one place. Can you please provide some options to hide it?
Unfortunately, the Jira integration does not currently support hiding internal notes from appearing on Jira cards that have linked Zendesk tickets.
I've passed this on as feedback to our product team to consider for future iterations.
This is indeed not possible with the ZenDesk Jira integration solution.
Allow me to propose a solution that does allows you to specify and configure what you would like to send to the other side and how to process/display the incoming information.
The solution is called Exalate and it is a specialised integration solution with a vast amount of flexibility and power to create the integration that really fits your needs.
