JIRA App markdown preserving on copying fields from ticket

When we create JIRA tasks from Zendesk we have a predefined template with markdown for easier readability and to save time on text/logs styling in JIRA.

However, when clicking on "copy from custom fields" all the text styles e.g. bold text are lost.

This would save tons of time for me and my colleagues.
