How can I filter my views by ticket subject?

Answer

The Description condition filters only the text in the first comment on the ticket. It doesn’t filter the ticket subject or additional comments. There isn’t a ticket subject condition for views.

  • As a workaround, create a trigger to tag tickets based on the subject. In the trigger, use the Ticket > Subject text condition and the Ticket > Add tags action.

  • After you save the trigger, create a view that uses the tag the trigger adds to show tickets by subject line
