Using Knowledge Capture for the first time.  Finding it great except  that I can't figure it out how articles published can be seen by all agents even though I have created a section segmented for one particular group of agents.

Anyone ever encountered this problem and any help here from Helpdesk appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hey George,

I can see you also submitted a ticket about this and were able to resolve things. Did you still have any additional questions on this?

Hi. When writing "internal" articles by making them available for "agents and managers", the article's header gets a lock icon in front of it (to indicate that it's internal). But the icon is squeezed into first letter and my design-genes are freaking out every time I see it. I've tried to add space in the beginning of the header text, but it is removed when I save the article. Any advice?

    Hi Andreas,

I've done some testing in my own account but was not able to replicate this issue on my end. Most likely this issue is occurring due to some changes made within your Guide theme.

If you have developers available you'll want to have them take a look  at your Guide template to see why this icon is merging with your article header.

I've also included some Guide customization articles which I believe you'll find useful as well:

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers!

    Hi Guys

Is there any way to generate a one-time access link to an article that normally requires signing in to view, which can allow the receiver of the link to open the article and view that using the link but the link will expire after a certain period?

I'm asking this because, sometimes we need to share some of our articles with our customers who need quick guidance but because they may be some temporary staff, it doesn't make sense we create an account for them and define access level. At the same time we don't want to open those articles to public.

    Regards

    Ethan

    Hey Ethan,

There's no way to provide a one-time access link at this time, however, I do think this is a very interesting idea/use-case. I encourage you to create a feedback post in our Feedback on Guide topic. I'm happy to pass this feedback along to our Guide team so they're aware of this need.

Thanks for taking the time to share this with us!

    Hi Brett

Thanks for recommendation. I have created a feedback post already. Below is the link:

    Hi,

Is it possible to restrict access only to certain segments of the article?

    Hi Rinat -

Thanks for your question. Restriction is only available at the level of the full article; it is not possible to restrict only portions of an article.
