Once someone passes the exam, does that make them a ZCA? or CZA? We need to talk about the initials!

Interesting concept. We haven't thought about adding an acronym as part of the Zendesk certifications but something to consider. We'll discuss further with our Marketing and Creative partners. Thanks for your comment!

How does the bi-annual recertification work? You have to take the test twice a year and pay each time?

Hi Amber! Thanks for calling this out. I have updated the language to biennial (every two years).

Thanks for clarifying Carol. So you would be required to pay for the re-certification every 2 years?

Yes, you repay and take our master exam every 2 years to retain your certification.

    Hello!

How can I show my certificate on LinkedIn? I have to link to it, nor any way to associate it with me, and I can't paste my earned logo. What is the best approach for this scenario?

Thanks for your course @Carol Dilbert, it really helped me accomplish it c:

    Cheers.

Hi Daniel! I'm glad the course helped you with the exam! We are working on adding adding a downloadable .PDF certificate and a certification number to our certifications but for now I suggest you just list the certification name, certification authority (Zendesk) and the completed and expiration dates to the certification accomplishment record.

If I fail the exam, would it be another 350 USD to retake, or would there be a discount?

    Hi there!

I'm not completely sure what the protocol is in this situation, so I'm going to check on it and find out for you!

Hello. There is a 2 week waiting period between exam attempts and the full $350 is required to re-purchase the exam after a failed attempt.

    Hi Carol, how are you?

I would like to know if zendesk will apply the proof in other languages too, such as PT BR

Hi Diogenez. Certificates, logos and badges (coming soon) will all be available in English only.

What are the benefits to my company for having certified people in-house, other than the sales pitch that we have certified engineers on board?  Are there any perks/incentives (ie, discounts on future projects, discounts on training, etc).

Hi Shannon. The benefits of having a certified staff are business based rather than discount based. Here's a list of what certification can do for your business:

Highly trained staff running the business
Strong support team interacting with your customers
Well-built infrastructure to manage customer base
    Increased customer confidence
    Boosts employee productivity
    Contributes to employee retention
    Shows operational excellence
    Drives down tickets
    Better ticket handle times
