How do I change the shape and size of the Web Widget (Classic) or Chat widget when it appears on my website?

Select from the two options below based on which widget you have:  

Web Widget (Classic) or current Chat widget   Legacy Chat widget  

If you have the Web Widget (Classic) or current Chat widget

At this time it is not possible to customize the shape or size of the Web Widget (Classic).

If you have the Legacy Chat widget

You can change the size between small, medium and large from the Chat dashboard. See Customizing the Chat Window for instructions. 

If you would like more custom size options, you can use the custom code shown in this article: Zendesk chat Javascript API.

One way to change the shape of the chat icon is to turn on or off the chat badge. See more on that in this article:Customizing the Chat Badge section (Chat standalone users). Beyond this, the shape of the widget is not customizable.
