How do I find my Chat Account Key?

    FYI, I found out your API Key is the same as your Chat Account Key.

    Hey Auri,

    Would you mind clarifying your post? The Chat account key is necessary to exchange for the bearer token, though it isn't your API key. Curious if that is what you meant.

    Hi Adam,
     
    To access your Chat Dashboard, you need to click on the four product tray on the top right in your account.
    From that list, locate the product Chat and click on it. 
    You'll be redirected to the Chat Dashboard.

    Hello Johnny,

    Many thanks for your interesting question - what if your Account Key isn't visible on "Check Connection" item list.

    In this case, you also can check your chat account key using the following way:

    From the Chat dashboard, select Visitors > Simulate Visitor
    A new window opens from which you can interact with your Chat widget as a visitor. Please copy the Account Key from there:

    Hi am kb,
     
    As noted in this article:
     
    "The Chat Account Key is not visible for accounts using messaging. The Account Key is not necessary for any integrations, plugins, or mobile app development under the messaging experience".
     
    If you still need it, you can try to disable messaging and see if it will show up. For reference, please see this article: Disabling messaging for web and mobile channels.
