How do I find the Zendesk ID for my Chat account? An integration, plugin, or mobile app that I am trying to configure requires this information.
Note: The Chat Account Key is not visible for accounts using messaging. The Account Key is not necessary for any integrations, plugins, or mobile app development under the messaging experience.
To find your Chat account key
- Sign in to your Chat dashboard.
- In the top right-hand corner, click your profile icon and, in the menu that appears select the Check Connection option.
- In the window that opens, your Chat account key is the long string of numbers and letters on the second line, as shown in the example below.
