I need my apps to make more calls to the Zendesk API per minute. How can I increase my API rate limit?
You can increase the Zendesk API rate limit per minute for your plan in two different ways:
- Upgrade your Support subscription to a higher pricing plan.
- If you are on the Zendesk Suite Growth plan and above, purchase the High volume API add on. This feature increases your rate limit to 2500 requests per minute.

What is the price of High Volume API Add-on?

The High Volume API Add-on is available to be purchased if you are on Support Professional/Enterprise or Zendesk Growth, Professional, and Enterprise.
If you have more than 10 agents, the add-on will cost £20 / €25 / $25 per month per agent. If you have less than 10 agents, you will pay £200 / €250 / $250 per month for the add-on.
