I am a developer and I want to assist my customers to update their credit card for an app in the Marketplace. How can I do that?
Answer
Zendesk uses Stripe for accepting and managing online payments. If you are a developer, access your Stripe account to see all active subscriptions for your apps. Zendesk passes the customer's Zendesk domain to Stripe and you can see that information in the customer record in the Stripe dashboard.
Delete the credit card associated with the customer in Stripe. When the customer reopens the app, they will be prompted with the error message below.
This allows the customer to enter the new credit card without providing the information to you.
