Can I get desktop notifications for Chat?
Answer
Every agent has the option to enable Notifications for themselves if they wish. For detailed instructions, see this article: Editing your chat notification settings.
You should also ensure that the page in question has permission to send notifications. For instructions in Chrome, see this article from the Google Help Center: Turn notifications on or off.

Hi Niall Colfer - I was told by ZD Team (Chat) that internet speed is also a factor of not getting the notification sound and pop up? Can you please verify this.
Some of our consultants are not seeing notification either sound/pop up that there was a chat assigned to them.

Hello,
There can be a wide range of factors in play here. Checking the network is always a good start. Browser issues tend to hang sometimes as well suggest clearing your cache and cookies to make sure your browser is running smoothly.

Kharlo - all of those have now been ruled out so what to check next in the event that employee still not receiving any notification?

Next suggestions would be making sure all extensions are disabled and to test if it is still happening. I would also try other browsers just to rule out browser related issues.
