Can I view the personal macros of other users on my Zendesk account?
Answer
Admins can view personal macros that other users create, but they can't edit them. If you're an admin and want to edit someone else's personal macro, clone the macro instead.
To edit someone else's personal macro:
- Open Admin Center and go to Workspaces > Agent tools > Macros
- On the Macros page, click the Filter button
- Under Available for, select Individual agents. Click Apply filters.
- Select the checkbox next to the macro you want to edit
- In the action bar at the bottom of the list, click Clone
You can then edit the cloned macro.
Alternatively, admins can use the macros API endpoint to view and edit any type of macro.
