I want to hide a help center category or section. How do I restrict access to the categories or sections in Zendesk Knowledge?

You can't set view permissions at the category or section level. Article settings control end-user access to the higher levels in the knowledge base structure. To restrict access to a category or section, all articles within that category or section must be restricted. Configure the article's Viewing permissions to limit visibility to specific user segments.

If there are no articles within a category or section that has the Visible to everyone setting turned on, then the category or section is hidden from users who don't belong to at least one user segment with a viewing permission.
