Google Chrome will be phasing out support for 3PCs in 2024. As a result, Amazon Connect has implemented a change to ensure that 3PCs continue to work effectively within Google Chrome.

We have applied these changes to Engage, ensuring that your users will continue to be able to access Engage.

3PCs will be gradually deprecated for Google Chrome users throughout the first half of 2024. For more information, including the timeline, click here. 

Once 3PC is deprecated for a user, when they log into Engage for the first time post deprecation, they will be prompted to allow access to cookies within their browser. This is necessary to use Engage and Amazon Connect and can be done as per the below:

Note the below will only appear to users who have already had 3PC deprecated.

   1. Click the Grant access button

   2. Click the Allow button

Alternatively, you can deploy a Chrome Enterprise Policy to allow the use of third party cookies for Amazon Connect and maintain. This will remove the need for your users to enable 3PC as per the above. Click here to learn more.
