Using Zendesk to inform users of releases?

    Hi Joseph Krikorian,

    The notification banner might be the best answer for you. I use it and have seen a drastic decrease in incoming calls/chats whenever there is an outage or any update. The banner is seen whenever someone is viewing the Guide/Knowledge Base, which means they'll see it if they want to start a chat. 

    Getting this setup is listed in the Adding a notification banner to your Help Center v2 post. It's lengthy and might take some tweaking to have it exactly how you want it (personally, I have 4 themes: one for no banner, one for a red banner, one for a yellow one, and one for a green one), but this should update anyone that goes to your Guide.
