Feature Request: Display security warning in Zendesk Support for tickets imported via the GMail connector if GMail considers them suspicious
Posted Jul 29, 2021
Feature Request Summary:
Zendesk Support should display security warning for tickets imported via the GMail connector if GMail considers them suspicious.
Description/Use Cases:
Email phishing attacks are becoming more frequent and sophisticated, and GMail is continually being enhanced to provide details about the possible security threats related to emails. Unfortunately, once the email is imported into Zendesk Support via the GMail connector, the security warnings that help keep our users safe are lost. So, our agents are more susceptible to phishing emails when viewing tickets (particularly with attachments) in Zendesk Support than they would be if just viewing the emails in GMail.
If Zendesk Support could show similar warnings to GMail for potentially dangerous tickets my importing security metadata, or some other means, then that would highly valuable in helping us secure our organisation.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
Without these warnings, the probability of one of our agents opening a malicious attachment or URL is increased and the security consequences could range from annoying to catastrophic.
