Bulk Delete Closed Tickets

Bulk deleting from the All Closed Tickets screen should be more user friendly. Why is there a check box that doesn't do anything? 

 

Having to delete individually is too time consuming. 

Any update on this Zendesk?

Hi Zoe,

out of interest - why are you trying to bulk delete closed tickets? I can understand why ZD don't want us to 'accidentally' delete tickets and don't allow bulk deletion as such...

Would an archive function work better, where tickets are removed from the category of closed tickets.

We are at the early stages of Zendesk integration and have a lot of test tickets which are affecting the live ticket reporting.

This would be a very useful feature, especially when looking to clear out test tickets during implementation. Going through the API is too complicated for such a simple task.

Hi we have the same problem.

It is a very anti consumer design.

Example if on gmail you cant select all old mails and delete?

You are forced to go in and delete 1 by 1 even if you have thousands?

At least for GDPR reasons it's not possible to keep for a long time tickets and info regarding requesters

Hi, even we have the same concern. All the test tickets need to be purged before going live.

Hi Deepoo and all,

We currently have a feature in Beta for deleting closed tickets. This allows you to create a deletion schedule to delete all tickets closed longer than X time.
